Hidden in a shrouded valley within the Dragonback Mountains, Tor Anrok once provided the High Elves with a bastion, which survived until 2276. Named in memory of the sunken city Tor Anroc, its ancient tower had once been the home and stronghold of the House of Lothain, a High Elven noble family whose bloodline is traced back to the kingdom of Tiranoc. There is a retcon in terms of where Tor Anroc is placed. In the novels it was in the Empire. But in the campaign supplement (source) its in the northern border princes. Then in WHTOW its in the south of the border princes
